A great thank you to Antonella Brizioli and to the Centro Incontri Culturali she directs for having built a new, highly original ponte – eine kulturelle Brücke – between Italian genius and the Mitteleuropean spirit of the Viennese circles. In Italy we would say that this bridge is a chicca (a little gem, a rare treat), a gioiellino (a small jewel); in Germanic terms it is a kleines Juwel. In short, it is a bridge of creativity, culture, and passion, across which free thinkers, artists, people rich in inventiveness and expertise in different disciplines, university institutes, institutions, and research centers move freely, working together to create projects and initiatives inspired by a new humanism of beauty, intellect, and prosperity.
